Great dock overall. Handles my dual monitor setup beautifully and the power delivery is robust. The build quality feels solid. One minor thing: the cable could be a bit longer for my desk arrangement, though that’s more about my specific setup than the dock itself. Solid performer that delivers on its specs. I’m using the single 8K mode with one 4K secondary display and it handles everything seamlessly. The SD card reader is noticeably faster than my old dock. My only observation is that it runs a bit warm during heavy use, though it’s nothing concerning. The 40Gbps speeds are real and noticeable when transferring large files. Good investment for anyone with a modern Thunderbolt 4 laptop.

Finally upgraded my setup with this dock and it’s been a game changer. The dual 4K @ 60Hz support is exactly what I needed for my creative work. I was skeptical about investing in this but I’m genuinely impressed. The SD5700T’s 11 ports mean I didn’t need to buy additional hubs or splitters. The UHS-II SD 4.0 card reader is lightning fast for transferring photos from my camera. Setup took literally five minutes and it recognized all my devices immediately. Worth every penny for the peace of mind that this will work with future laptops too.
