This thing is a workhorse. Been using it daily for shipping labels and invoices. What really impressed me was the Epson compatibility, which meant installation was painless. Great value for what you’re getting here. The 9 pin head produces quality output and the narrow carriage is perfect for my space constraints. I love that it has both parallel and serial interface options for maximum compatibility. One thing I noticed is the paper advancement can be a bit finicky when switching between different paper weights, but nothing a little adjustment won’t fix. Overall very satisfied with this purchase and the speed is definitely solid.

Solid machine. The 264 CPS speed is legitimately fast for this class of printer, and the 4 KB buffer works well for most of my printing tasks. Epson compatibility was a big selling point and it delivers on that promise. The letter size capability covers my needs. Minor downside: the manual could be clearer about the buffer optimization settings, but I figured it out. Would recommend to anyone needing reliable workhorse printing without breaking the bank.
